Having completing her education and medical training mainly in Geneva, Carine Schwarz Blatt decided to specialise in gynaecology and obstetrics. She was awarded a diploma in obstetric gynaecology in 1999, in accordance with the latest post-graduate training directives issued by the FMH (Swiss Medical Federation). She was appointed Senior Clinician at Geneva University Hospital in 2001.
Fascinated by the study of female hormones with particular emphasis on fertility, Dr. Schwarz Blatt took a second medical training course in reproduction and gynaecology-endocrinology between 2001 and 2006. Having passed the examination in accordance with the latest Federal requirements of the Gynaecology Society, she moved to central Geneva in 2006.
She subsequently trained in psychosomatic gynaecology under Doctor Sylvain Mimoun in Paris, and qualified in the management of viral cases (chronic hepatitis B, C and HIV+) in couples wishing to have a baby.
